Fall is absolutely my favorite season, not only for fall fashion but everything else. No sun shining on my face, no sweat, and also, I don’t know if it’s my imagination, but I feel swollen during hot weather. On the other hand, with the right amount of cool weather, my face feels somehow tighter and brighter. It’s way cozier to cuddle and hug, and it is all good smells.
Buying cute sweaters for Fall fashion 2022 with a latte in my hand is the best feeling, so I made this blog post not only for cute classic sweaters but as a list of must-haves for us to be all fashion prepared this 2022 Fall season.
I think this is a perfect list of items that will give this coming Fall a super stylish start. Now, let’s jump into the list and let me know which are your favorite items.
1 Mid Calf Boots
I have been drawn into ankle booties and many tights outfits for the past years. However, I think this year’s trends are taking a break from that kind of look. If not, I AM taking a break, at least at the beginning of the season. Last year I kept seeing these white calf boots from my favorite influencers, different variations on Pinterest, etc. I have no idea why I didn’t get them. I wanted to wait until my legs were more fitted or some excuse like that. Well, NOT THIS YEAR. The type of calf boot I want to get has the right amount of room around the calf. I think this little detail makes the legs look lighter/slimmer and longer, unlike when legs look like they are being squeezed. Here are some options that I am considering buying soon, so I am all prepared.
2 Vests to stay
We saw a lot of f linen summer vests this year, and I think the vest trend is here to stay for Fall-Winter too. There is something about layering that can make an outfit more intentionally stylish, and vests are a great way to add a little something else. A suit kind of vest gives boho and classy chic vibes, so I’m looking forward to styling the vest I wore during Summer in a more transitional weather kind of way.
3 Fashionable rainy days and sheer pants
Sheer materials can be so fashionable, especially when we see certain materials being used in a more creative way out of the ordinary. For example, I saw some pants that were made of sheer raincoat material. I think that is so cool. I want those pants, and if I don’t find the right ones, I will create them If I have to. Trying my best to share my finds related to the list, so as always, please let me know if you ended up trying any of the items. I would love to know if you loved and would recommend or hate them.
4 Fashionable Socks
Sneek peek socks can make an outfit cozier and cooler if it’s done with the right styling, which I hope I can manage and get that look I’ve wanted for a while this Fall season. I want to create this detail with the calf boots I’m buying this year, booties, and penny loafers. Follow me on Instagram, so you don’t miss all the outfits I’ll create with this look. Or to hold me accountable If I didn’t deliver my promise, ha!
5 Leather fringed skirts
You know that pin you love every time you see it on your Pinterest fashion board? That pin, for me, includes a midi/maxi leather fringed black skirt. And that is another item on my list that, if I don’t find, I will grab my scissors and faux leather fabric and create that skirt. I can picture myself wearing it with a casual t-shirt for transitional weather and with an edgy sweatshirt for Fall.
6 Coolest oversized jackets
Speaking of layering, time to wear that cool jacket that has been waiting in your closet. Oversized jackets don’t only look badass, but I love that I can wear a very light t-shirt under and just put the jacket on my shoulders for when I’m indoors. I have a timeless denim jacket that is super oversized from MIKUTAS, and I hope I can style it in a way that still matches my vibe.
7 Thick knit cozy sweaters
For an easy statement piece, I love to look for thick knit sweaters that can carry the whole outfit. This is an easy option for when I don’t have time to think about what to wear. If the sweater is a statement piece itself, I can just choose some jeans or solid pants, loafers, and off we go. I saw this super chunky knitted cardigan on Pinterest, and it’s one of those pieces that I can’t find anywhere, but I’ll keep looking until I find at least a very similar one. I’ll keep you guys posted, of course.
8 Faux Leather shirts
Last year I got two faux leather shirts, one in black and one in brown. Somehow, I wore them so many times, and yet every time I see them in my wardrobe, I feel like I want to wear them again. So, they are ready to come back this year to add a cool shine to lots of my outfits.
9 Chuck sneakers
I have a confession to make. I was never a fan of chuck sneakers. You know that kid in school who was super annoying at he/she wore that one item all the time and also talked about that one item all the time? Well, I have an experience like that, so psychologically, I was always opposed to putting such shoes on my feet. Okay! That sounds very dramatic. The point is, there is a version of it that I’m very into this year. How cool are these leather-like off-white creamy chuck sneakers? I’ll be wearing these for different seasons, in all sorts of outfits.
10 The best trench coats
As a London fan, I can’t escape from this must-have classic trench coat for this Fall 2022. There is something so perfectly casual and classy about wearing a good trench coat. The only thing I have to watch with this is the length, I feel like If I get one a little too long, it can make me look shorter, and I don’t want that, so I’ll be careful with that and keep you guys updated with my finds.
