I keep seeing this insanely cute cropped blazer style everywhere, and every time I see it on someone, it never disappoints. I think the boxed shape ends on the right spots, making the waist look smaller by being so boxy at the top.
On my search for the perfect cropped blazer, I found one from Zara, and I think it’s super cute and love the neutral color. Still, I have to admit I wouldn’t mind another color or slightly different style.
I love this cropped blazer because it is one of those pieces you can wear in all seasons. I put together a few outfit ideas that resemble that kind of variety, and I would love to know which cropped blazer outfit is your favorite.
1 Dressy Chic Date Outfit
I went on a date with this outfit the other day and got many compliments. I think wearing a bralette or crop top under the blazer created excitement, and the cute black shorts balance the look by being effortless.
I had to manually “crop” a cami top, as I wanted to achieve that look where you show a bit of your waist. However, I found so many cute items I’m considering buying that I included them here for reference. I love that the crop top below from Mango has a different nude fabric on the back. And the shorts and sandals are very similar to what I’m wearing in the inspiration photo.
2 Bruch with the girls’ outfit
I love mixing different fabrics, and whenever I have a cute solid kind of fabric piece, I have to create at least one outfit with leather (faux). These cream leather pants look super cute with the cropped blazer, and I think I’d wear them for a spring work meeting or a brunch with my sisters.
The same thing happened with the last look here. I had to “crop” my cami top to get that “showing waist” look. But how incredibly cute is this ivory/cream top attached? I don’t know how it looks on my mom’s boobs, but I would love to try it in person. If any of you does, I’d love your opinion on it!
3 Blazer and Jeans, a classic look
A blazer and jeans are a classic look; of course, I had to include this outfit on the list. I don’t own a lot of blue jeans; I’m more of a black jeans kind of person. This kind of outfit is the kind that can take you anywhere, from business casual to drinks with friends or running fancy errands. Is that a thing? I think it is.
I absolutely love over the ankle pants with booties. I feel myself more in a city vibe look, kind of new york inspired. I’ve been on the lookout for brown booties, but like a specific dark chocolate kind of color. I think the ones I found could work with what I’m envisioning, and a little bit of muted color with bring the outfit more to life.
4 The right amount of edge outfit
I think this is my favorite outfit on the list. I love that the combat boots add a slight edge. I would also wear this with a mini white dress; there are many possibilities, mainly because this specific blazer is such a muted brown.
-The combat boots attached are very similar to the ones I’m wearing. Any little black dress would go because the cropped blazer covers the top part anyway. I love the little detail on the dress attached I found. So subtle but chic. Lastly, any cool black bag would go too, but this Chloe one will for sure elevate the whole look.
5 Monochromatic Outfit
One of the easiest ways to create an interesting outfit is by choosing one color and adding different shades. I believe a monochromatic look can make your figure look taller, and it just seems so intentional and put together; it’s a day for an outfit of the day photo, for sure.
-I love how relaxed the pants are. Super comfortable. I’m wearing the pants from Banana Republic, and I couldn’t find the style online anymore, but here are similar ones. And using a cute cloud-like shape bag for reference because brown and blue are a super cute combination. It reminds me of a chocolate candy bar from a retro store.
6 Summer vibes outfit
If you are like me, even during summer days, I need to carry a sweater or some extra layer because unless I’m going for lunch on an outdoor patio, all restaurants I live in have the a/c so strong. I could freeze to death if I’m only wearing a tiny crop top or mini dress. This cropped blazer style is perfect for that type of scenario, the fabric is so light, but I wouldn’t mind finding a linen version.
How cute are those chunky sandals! I wish I had them. They look so unique, and they have the perfect amount of chunks. The shorts I’m wearing are ivory, but I think white ones like the reference would make the outfit even fresher.
7 Every closet needs black leather in it (faux)
Black leather is the perfect way to elevate an outfit. This cropped blazer makes the outfit so stylish together with the pants. Of course, any handbag and shoes will go at this point.
I had to add a little color detail to the outfit, I kept saving color inspirations from Pinterest that involved browns and reds, and I had to apply them to this outfit. The metallic shoes are adorable. I love that they could make such a contrast with semi-casual black leather pants or even black jeans.
Cropped blazer and skirt set
Cropped blazer sets are something I would also love to try. I think they would look insanely good for going to a meeting or dressing it up for a chic event.
I found some super cute options. I think the one with the pants would look perfect for a work holiday party, and the beige/cream set would just go with absolutely everything, just like the black set.
